My friend Yeya and I grabbed lunch at Stacked today, one of the greater restaurants in San Diego. It’s an awesome place with a great atmosphere plus you order your food on iPads. I ended my meal with this giant oreo milkshake (someone please keep 911 on speed dial in case I have a heart attack). After the heavy meal we walked around the mall, drooling at the holiday window displays.
On a side note, this dress I found at Marshall’s is the dress I’ve been looking for for a while now. It has no shape at all, the middle is lined and the sleeves are see-through, super cute. I had been lusting over the black keyhole dress that Rumi has from Zara and finding this one got me pretty excited. Will be wearing it in more posts to come.

There’s nothing like a nice dinner with your family (or friends) to kick off the holiday season. This year, my mom and I hosted our first Thanksgiving ever (we usually go to an aunt or grandparent’s house) and we had a great time doing it! I helped my mom cook and I also took the job of decorating, which is one of my favorite things to do. Sometimes I think I should give up studying nursing for something like interior design. I can’t wait to go shopping tomorrow (did you hear that Urban Outfitter’s sale is 50% off?!) and buy treats for myself and others for Christmas!

Take Care

Missoni for Target dress, Michael Kors coat, LV Clutch

A long overdue post about this Missoni dress that I found laying around at Target last week-I couldn’t believe my eyes when I found it. I held in my hands in disbelief. I have nothing but great things to say about it, too-the fit is amazing as well as the length. Missoni’s pieces are truly timeless.
My good friends and I went out tonight to grab some sushi and (of course!) to buy Drake’s new album that just came out, Take Care. It’s such a great album, my favorite tracks are definitely Shot For Me, Cameras and Doing It Wrong. My friends and I had been anticipating Take Care for so long and we, of course, had to support our first love, Jimmy Brooks Drake. I recommend grabbing the CD or downloading it on iTunes. There are some great features (YMCMB of course, Stevie Wonder, Rihanna and Andre 3000).
Anyway, I digress. I haven’t been the best blogger lately and I promise to post more outfits. All I can say is that I can’t wait for winter break!

Mushroom

Free People Sweater, Trouvé silk shorts, Trouvé Tristen Pumps

I bought these pumps from Nordstrom last week. Nordstrom has them in black and the color I’m wearing (mushroom), and after much debate on color I picked mushroom. I love the way these pumps are cut and how the leather looks. They are really steep, but the platform makes them just comfortable enough to walk in. Love!!! I might have to go back to Nordstrom and buy the black pair. On a side note – I think Trouvé might be a new favorite as far as brands go. I have a couple of their pieces and I love them all. Quite affordable too!

Today has been a sleepy Monday….and I’m sick! ;[ I just threw this stuff on as my comfy/i know it’s hot outside but I’m cold outfit. On another note – I’ve had these JC shoes for a while and I love them! They’re so comfortable to walk anywhere in. To me these are the perfect leopard loafers for fall. If you haven’t treated yourself to a loafer yet, I strongly recommend these ones. Check em out!

Air Jordan 3’s | Dresses from Topshop

I don’t know why I developed a love for those Air Jordan’s. I keep seeing them on the internet. I saw them in the flesh yesterday and now I HAVE to have them. They’re a far cry from heels, but I’m sure these will definitely support my feet better. This happened to me again while I was shopping on TopShop. My eye came across these dresses. They would be so cute with big earrings or a statement necklace! Friday can’t come soon enough 😉

Yesterday my mom decided to let me have her old jewelry box to put my jewelry in. When she gave it to me it was still full of her old things, so I went through them with her and found these earrings. I love them – they remind me so much of something Zenon would wear. Stellar!
